Woody’s Lodge walks away with two bronze awards at this year’s Welsh Veterans Awards

We are thrilled and honored to share some exciting news with you all. 

We are proud to announce that we were not just one, but two-time winners at this year’s Welsh Veterans Awards 2023! The event took place on the 5th of July at the Village Hotel and Leisure Club in Cardiff, and it was a truly remarkable evening filled with celebration and camaraderie.

Hosted by the wonderful Polly James, the Awards recognised the outstanding achievements and contributions of veterans across Wales. The event was sponsored by GHN Property and Developments and held in support of two incredible charities, the ABF The Soldiers’ Charity Wales and the Royal Navy Royal Marines Charity.

The atmosphere in the room was electric, and we were surrounded by inspiring individuals who have made a significant impact in various fields. To be among such esteemed company was a privilege in itself.

We walked away with two bronze awards, a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team. 

Our first award was in the Health and Well-being category, recognising our commitment to promoting the physical and mental well-being of our veterans. This recognition means a great deal to us, as we strive to provide comprehensive support and care to those who have served our country.

Additionally, we were honored with an award in the Employer category, highlighting our efforts in creating a supportive and inclusive work environment for veterans. We firmly believe that veterans bring unique skills and experiences to the table, and it is our responsibility to create opportunities for them to thrive in their post-military careers.

These awards are not just a testament to our organisation but a reflection of the incredible veterans we have the privilege to work with.
