Work With Woody’s Lodge

Meet The Team

Woody’s Lodge is a welcoming, community-led charity supporting veterans, reservists, emergency service personnel, and their families across Wales. We provide a safe, informal environment where people can simply drop in for a brew and connection, or access more structured, personalised support when it’s needed.

Our work is built around four key pillars: Outreach, Green Space, Wellbeing, and Community, allowing us to support people in a way that is flexible, compassionate, and led by individual need. For some, that means specialist guidance and advocacy; for others, it’s about reducing isolation, building friendships, and feeling part of something again.

Since opening in 2017, Woody’s Lodge has grown from a single hub into a network of support across North, South and West Wales. We now engage with thousands of visits each year, delivering both drop-in spaces and targeted outreach into communities, including those who may not otherwise reach out for support.

As we continue to grow and evolve, we’re looking for people who bring energy, ideas, and a genuine motivation to make a difference. People who aren’t afraid to get stuck in, who can adapt to a varied role, and who want to play an active part in shaping and strengthening what we do.

Whether your background is in support work, administration, outreach, or you simply bring a strong sense of community and teamwork, you’ll have the chance to be part of something meaningful.

Grow with us. Be part of the journey.
