Why Support Woody’s Lodge?
Every donation you make to Woody’s Lodge, allows us to support those who’ve served our country in the armed forces and emergency services, as well as their families.
Did you know?
In our first six months, we received over 1,200 visits from veterans in Cardiff and the wider Vale of Glamorgan. Every bit of financial support that we receive at Woody’s Lodge, allows us to keep going with our work, expanding our services and helping even more veterans, emergency service leavers and their families.
Your Donation Matters
Your donation of £10 will pay for:
- A supported place at the Veterans dementia drop-in, including their carer
- Transport for a Veteran with mobility needs to attend our drop-in centre
- One-to-one support with DWP applications
Your donation of £50 will pay for:
- Everything that £10 pays for PLUS
- Half a tank of fuel for our Veterans minibus
- A member of staff to provide an activity session for 5 Veterans
- Gardening equipment and plants for one of our Veteran hubs
Your donation of £100 will pay for:
- Everything that £50 pays for PLUS
- MOT and servicing for the minibus
- Towards building tools for the cottage renovation at Penlan Farm
Your donation of £1000 will pay for:
- Everything that £100 pays for PLUS
- Running costs for the Woody’s minibus for one year
- Building materials to finish off Penlan Farm Cottage into a training retreat
- 6 months electricity bill for one of our hubs
Your donation of £5000 will pay for:
- Everything that £10-£1000 pays for PLUS
- A coach day-trip to a memorial site in the UK for our Veterans
- A part-time member of support staff
- Renovation of the raised beds and a greenhouse
