Our Annual Cycle Fundraiser Events are more than just rides; they’re a tribute to the indomitable spirit of our veterans. Join us on a poignant journey, exploring historical landscapes and paying respects to those who shaped our world.
As we gear up for the Brecon to National Arboretum expedition, we invite you to be part of a tradition that not only enriches our veterans’ lives but also fuels crucial support through life-changing services. These annual adventures embody our commitment to fostering a community that honours, remembers, and rides for our heroes.
For the past two years, Woody’s Lodge has embarked on extraordinary cycling journeys in honour of our veterans, weaving tales of camaraderie, resilience, and remembrance. In 2022, we pedaled from Cardiff to Paris, and in 2023, we ventured through the hallowed grounds of the Normandy Battlefields— an epic saga celebrating fallen heroes. Now, as we reflect on the profound impact of these journeys, we’re thrilled to unveil our next chapter: the 2024 Brecon to National Arboretum ride.

Here’s a word from Clive Hamilton, Vice Chair for the Board of Trustees at Woody’s Lodge
“The Woody’s Lodge team is hard at work planning an adventure of a lifetime rich in history, exploration, and togetherness as we celebrate exceptional heroes. With veteran fundraisers like this, you can rest assured that we’re taking all the necessary steps to ensure the routes are safe, comfortable, and exciting so everyone can create special memories. “
“You can support Normandy Battlefield Tours 2023 as riders on the ground or supporters who help us reach our fundraising goals. We’re also on the search for corporate sponsorships for businesses wanting to be a part of something amazing.”
