Starting my career in the Avon and Somerset Police Force, I worked as a Community Response Officer and a CID officer on the Family and Child Protection Unit in Bristol. Following that I have worked in a number of legal positions, and supported Adults and young people in a number of settings, including Drugs/Alcohol/Housing/Education and the Criminal Justice system in and around South West England. I have a qualification in Careers Guidance and have done many training courses including Mental Health First Aid, Safeguarding, and Collaborative working.

My husband is a forces veteran having served for over 20 years in the Grenadier Guards, retiring as a WO2 after a suffering a permanent injury in the first Gulf War. We relocated to Wales in 2021. We both love sport and walking the Coastal Paths.
