Andrea Ellis – Site Manager
I am a Site Manager at Woody’s Lodge, where I have the privilege of supporting veterans, serving personnel, blue light personnel, and their families across Wales. Having previously served as Charity Shop Supervisor, I continue to work closely with our community while focusing on helping individuals overcome challenges, access support, and rebuild confidence through compassionate, peer-led guidance.

Coming from a military family, I have a deep appreciation for the sacrifices made by those who serve and the unique challenges they and their families can face. This understanding has driven my passion for supporting others and ensuring that no one feels they have to face life’s battles alone.

I hold a Level 2 Peer Mentor qualification and have completed Mental Health First Aid and Suicide Awareness training. Combining professional training with lived experience allows me to build trusting relationships, listen without judgement, and empower people to take positive steps forward.

Throughout my time with Woody’s Lodge, I have been proud to help grow our presence within the community by developing partnerships, organising fundraising events, coordinating volunteers, and supporting initiatives that make a real difference.

I believe that meaningful support begins with genuine human connection. Whether I’m mentoring someone through a difficult period, helping them navigate services, or simply offering a listening ear, my aim is always the same—to help people feel heard, valued, and hopeful about the future.

I am always keen to connect with individuals, charities, businesses, and organisations who are passionate about strengthening communities and supporting those who have served. Together, we can continue to make a lasting difference.

Keep up to date with Woody's Lodge
