Lucy Higgins
I started my career as a Radio/Radar Technician at R.A.F. Sealand, North Wales working for the M.O.D.
I moved to Wiltshire and continued working within radio communications for the Police, Fire, and Ambulance Services, based at Police Headquarters, Devizes.
After relocating to South Wales with my young family, I then changed careers to become a school administrator and spent 20 years in my post at a local primary school in the Vale of Glamorgan.
I enjoy cycling and hill walking and love spending time on the Welsh coast and in the Brecon Beacons.
My eldest son is currently serving in the army, I have supported Armed Forces charities by fundraising for over 10 years. It was through volunteering at Woody’s Lodge that I was able to offer my admin skills and become part of the support team.
