After living and working in the buzzing city of Cardiff for many years, I was ready for a slower pace of life near tranquil, charming towns. This is when I decided to move to West Wales after taking on many roles, from administrative duties, sales, finance, and banking to one of my most fulfilling and enjoyable career paths yet – working with young adults with learning disabilities & mental health problems. This career path motivated me to complete my level 3 QCF in Health & Social Care. With a strong foundation helping others, I set off on a new trajectory to West Wales. Having followed Woody’s Lodge on social media for many years, I became inspired by the support they offered current and former members of the Armed Forces & Emergency Services and their families. They captivated my interest, and when seeing a job position advertised, I immediately applied. Here I am today, a part of this magnificent team at Woody’s Lodge, hoping to make a difference and continue to help others.
