Alexandra Woodward – Support Officer (North Wales)

Alexandra WoodwardAlexandra Woodward

Originally, I was born in Chester and moved to North Wales in my teens.

I have previously worked in various sectors. For several years I worked at the Welsh College of Horticulture, the facility supported and rehabilitated students and adults in gaining experience of working within a real commercial environment. I also worked for Vision Support, transcribing magazines, NHS medical information, household documents etc into audio, braille, large print and audio.

I have gained qualifications in Management, NEBOSH Environmental Management and NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety and utilised these qualifications in previous roles.

I started as a volunteer last year for SSAFA as a Caseworker and whilst volunteering I was introduced to Woody’s Lodge and the incredible support that it provides to veterans, emergency services and their families. I am really proud to have the opportunity of working with this wonderful team.

I really enjoy my family time, being together, walking together, eating together and the odd glass of prosecco!

Keep up to date with Woody's Lodge
