Welsh Ambulance Services Mental Health Support

Welsh Ambulance Service Mental Health Support

Did you know that in the last week, 1 in 6 of us will have been affected by poor mental health? Often, the fear of stigma stops us from seeking help or reaching out. The fear of stigma particularly affects veterans and up to 71% of military personnel who experience poor mental health don’t seek professional help when they need it.

In order to support those with mental health issues, the Welsh Ambulance Service has created a new Mental Health Leaflet: You are not alone. The leaflet provides a huge range of Mental Health Support Helplines, many of which are free to contact and are available 24/7.
