Woody’s Lodge joins Cobseo, the Confederation of Service Charities!

Here at Woody’s Lodge, we’re delighted to announce that we have joined the Cobseo, the Confederation of Service Charities! 

Cobseo creates a single point of contact for interacting with the government organisations, as well as other members of the Armed Forces community. By having just one point of contact, it allows us to interact with other Cobseo members easily.

As well as providing the opportunity to collaborate and ensure that the veterans, emergency services leavers and their families that we support here at Woody’s get the best possible amount of help that they can. By being a member of Cobseo, the support that we can offer our veterans, emergency services leavers and their families now extends to an entire network of Armed Forces charities.

By working to develop policies for dealing with issues of common concern for veterans, providing access to other member charities, Cobseo also provides a direct line to various government groups and committees. Cobseo’s objectives are to represent the interests of the Armed Forces community and we feel that their values are incredibly similar to ours here at Woody’s, which is why we’re so delighted to become a Cobseo member. Our goal at Woody’s is to support, mentor and signpost for our veterans, emergency services leavers and their families as much as we can. We believe by being a member of Cobseo, allows us to further our vision and goals.
