Corporate Partnership with Masons Moving Group

With a history of Masons serving in the armed forces, Masons Moving Group were keen to give their support to Woody’s Lodge. Established in 1905 by Sidney Mason, who then passed on the business to his son Eric, providing a long lineage in expert home and business removal and storage services throughout the UK and across the globe. Masons has been in the removals and storage business for over 110 years and is currently being run by a fourth generation of Masons who are keen to give back to those who have proudly served our local community and country in the armed and emergency services.

Masons have helped household names with their removals and storage needs both large and small including Colin Jackson, Gerrard Houlier and the Archbishop of Canterbury. Plus, they have the skills and knowledge to undertake more complicated projects such as the worldwide exhibition of Star Trek memorabilia when the display came to Cardiff. Or when they undertook the huge logistical challenge of preparing Cardiff’s Principality Stadium for the UEFA Champions League Final and then rearranging the stadium for the Robbie Williams concert being held shortly after in the summer of 2017. Going back to their armed forces roots, they also proudly helped local troops with the transportation of their kit bags during the first Iraq war.

Gordon Mason, a Director at Mason’s Moving Group Ltd, says “we are delighted to support Woody’s Lodge in its’ endeavour to give support and advice to Armed Forces Veterans and those from the Emergency Services. The philosophy of this new charity is close to our heart at Masons, as our father Eric Mason, was himself an RAF veteran and we have a long history of moving members of the RAF, Army, Navy, and their families, around the UK and across Europe. This continues on today through Masons franchise arrangements with Bishops Move. When we first heard about the work that Woody’s Lodge was undertaking, we wanted to be part of it in some way, and we are now looking forward to helping Woody’s Lodge grow and thrive”.

Masons are a member of the British Association of Removers (BAR) and are regulated by the BAR’s Code of Practice, ensuring they provide an expert and professional service to their customers.
