Garfield Weston Foundation Supports Woody’s Lodge with £20,000 Core Funding Grant
Woody’s Lodge is delighted to have received a second grant of £20,000 from the Garfield Weston Foundation in support of our core costs.
The Garfield Weston Foundation is a long-established UK charitable foundation that supports a wide range of causes across the country, from community organisations to welfare and health initiatives. Their continued support is a strong endorsement of the work we do and the impact we are making across Wales.
For small charities like ours, core funding is essential. While project funding often supports specific activities, core costs ensure the charity itself can operate effectively day to day. This includes maintaining our safe and welcoming hubs, covering essential utilities, supporting staffing, and enabling the coordination of services across Wales.
Without this type of funding, it would be significantly more difficult to provide consistent, reliable support to the veterans, emergency service personnel, and families who rely on us.
This grant provides stability at a time when demand for our services continues to grow, allowing us to focus on what matters most, supporting those who need us.
We are incredibly grateful to the Garfield Weston Foundation for their continued belief in our work.
