Kayak Challenge for Veterans

Thank You for Supporting Kerry’s Kayak Challenge for Veterans

We are thrilled to share the news of Kerry Moore (Taff) recent adventure and express our deepest gratitude for your incredible support. For those who might not know, Kerry, a military veteran who has faced significant challenges, including spinal injuries over the past decade, undertook an inspiring mission to support fellow veterans.

The Adventure Achieved

On the weekend of 1st June 2024, Kerry successfully kayaked 18.5 miles down the stunning River Wye, supported by Hereford Canoe Hire based at Tresseck Campsite. This challenging feat was not only a testament to his resilience and determination but also a significant milestone in his efforts to support Woody’s Lodge.

The Impact: Woody’s Lodge

Kerry’s kayaking challenge was more than just a thrilling adventure. It was a heartfelt initiative to raise funds and awareness for Woody’s Lodge, an incredible charity dedicated to providing essential resources and a supportive community for veterans. The funds raised are crucial in helping veterans rebuild their lives, regain their independence, and find the camaraderie they need for their well-being.

Fundraising Success

We are delighted to announce that through Kerry’s efforts and your generous contributions, we raised £375. Every pound donated is a significant step towards making a difference in the lives of veterans. Your support ensures that they receive the help they deserve.

Our Gratitude

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you who donated and supported Kerry’s journey. Your contributions, whether big or small, have made a real impact. Your generosity has helped us provide crucial assistance to those who have given so much for our country.

Continuing the Journey

Though this particular adventure has concluded, our mission continues. We invite you to stay connected with us and continue supporting veterans through future initiatives and events. Together, we can create lasting change and offer hope to those who need it most.
